Help House is a SUPPLEMENTAL/EMERGENCY food bank. Our service area is northern Whidbey Island from Deception Pass to Bakken Road in Greenbank. **If you are military and have not been referred by another agency, we will assist you no more then three (3) times. After that, we will give you a referral to Navy/Marine Corps Relief Society to make an appointment to talk with a counselor. The counselor will have to complete the referral form before you can return.

The following are the policies of Help House:

  1. Food baskets (groceries) may be received 1 time a month. If you need food, please tell us when you come in – the sign-in sheet on the reception desk is for bakery items. Everytime you pick up a food bag, you must present a
  2. picture ID. No food will be given without picture ID.

  3. Bakery items can be picked up 2 times a week. You may have 1 sweet and 1 bread item. Occasionally, when we have an abundance of items, you may take more – if this is the case, the receptionist will tell you how many items you may take. Please sign the bakery sheet on the clipboard at the reception desk if you get any bakery items.
  4. Produce, available at the stand outside, can be picked up 2 times a week. We ask that you take only ½ bag so there is enough to go around.
