Frank Brown

Sometimes television is at it's best in it's purest form, A single speaker communicating directly to their audience.

Councilman Frank Brown's show on channel 22 last Tuesday [5-12-09] was good television. He calmly sat in front of the camera talking about North Omaha history showing pictures from a book by the planning department. The show got more interesting as it went on and ended it early leaving us wanting more.

Politics can generate classic television moments like Nixon,s "Checkers" speech, JFK's Press conferences or Edward R Murrow's interviews and Frank Brown, an experienced broadcaster, made good use of the simple studio, he even used a classic sighn off. He is leaving office gracefully and his show was so good it should've been in Black and White.
