Jesus Christ!
What do you people want?
Although no one has figured out, yet, just what Jesus the
Christ has to do with it, we have come to recognize that
phrase as the call of the Great North American Bigot.
Very few if any, adult American black people have reached
maturity without hearing this cry at least once.
This pitiful creature utters this cry when he has been caught
in a lie, or when you have discovered his thievery.
He feels imposed upon when you attempt to recover something he
has stolen from you.
The very truth of his existence revolves around the fact that
once he has stolen something from you, your job, your home,
your automibile, or even your very existence you have no right
to demand its return.
He feels even more justification, and will protest even more
loudly if the original thief was a parent or an ancestor.
He will then protest loudly, "I had nothing to do with that!",
he may even add, "Why I wasn;t even born yet when that
happened!" but he will never relinguish his claim to the
stolen property and he will continue to enjoy his ill gotten
gains.
Witness some of the recent attempts to repossess property
stolen from indigenous people in Rhodesia, South Africa, and
other countries on the African continent.
It's easy to see that the cry of the Great American Bigot may
even be inherited from this European ancestors.
Remember brothers and sisters, this creature is an oddity in
the civilized world.
Unlike most civilized people he feels no shame or
embarrassment while he enjoys the fruits of his or his
ancestors thievery and debauchery.
In fact, you will find him to be quite proud of those same
ancestors.
He proudly writes of their conquests (read, Rape) and of how
his ancestors "discovered" (stole) a country already
inhabited by millions of people.
He is also quite vocal about how his ancestors brought
civilization to that country (read, taught them to act like
him) He is quick to discount his victims art, music and
literature simply because it is not European.
However, if he senses the potential for profit, he will
simply do the expedient thing and, steal it.
In fact, I have noticed recently how popular the African
dashiki is becoming with women of the dominant race in this
country.
It will not surprise me to read, sometime in the future, that
it originated in Poland.
They have, at present almost completed the theft of
indigenous African American music.
They call it jazz, which is a derogatory term, never used by
its originators.
Unfortunately, despite the economic loss to our community, we
have, as a race, decided to forego any protest and instead,
many of us applaud these pretenders and accept tham as
bonafide creators of this form of musical art.
The reason: they have not walked in our shoes.
They are entitled to voice an opinion of our art but, they
can never be experts.
Histort tells us that when a white man becomes expert in our
affairs his underlying motive is frequently to steal that
which he has become "expert" at.
Remember these things when next you clamor for any form of
integration!
We have no need to become a part of white society but, we
have a moral right to expect respect from them.
