Troop 38 is committed to improving conditions for children and the elderly. The Troop has committed to volunteer their time and resources to local organizations and churches to enrich the lives of the elderly and children through food drives, toy drives, clothing drives, reading programs and short plays.
During 2003, Troop 38 participated in food drives as well as helping out at Patricia House, a local home for children. The Troop also participated in Face Painting at Holy Family Church where they painted the faces of the children of Holy Family Church during the church festival.
The Troop is very excited about the upcoming year with Girl Scouts. It will be an exciting year for all of North Star. |
