Napoleonics

Napoleonics is a period with a lot of interest for wargamers, and about ten of the historical gamers at the club have armies for Principles of War 2nd Edition Napoleonic rules, although the period hasn't seen many games at the club for a couple of years. Many of these armies are now being rebased for the Field of Glory Napoleonics rules which are being trialled. We have had a few campaigns run in recent years involving quite a few club members, and the occasional multiplayer scenario. Before PoW, Napoleon's Battles was played quite extensively.

NapCon 2009 will be held in Taupo at the Cosi club, 11-13 September. All Scales and Napoleonic rule systems are welcome to this annual event. At last year's convention in Hastings, a British Light Cavalry sabre was presented as the prize for the overall top Napoleonic player.
