GREAT JOB!


Sunday night, February 29, our Sunday night services were led by our young men of the congregation.  I understand that they did an outstanding job.  I regret being away and missing hearing them.  I am very proud of all of our young men who participated.  Keep up the good work.  Again, I am proud of you!

NEW HORIZONS BREAKFAST

The men are reminded of the New Horizons breakfast Tuesday, March 16, 8:00 a.m. in the fellowship room.  Start your Tuesday morning off by coming and joining in this fellowship breakfast.

IT'S A GIRL!

Congratulations are extended to Kelly and Ericka Readhimer on the birth of a baby girl.  Tatum Marie was born March 5 and weighed 7 lbs. 10 ozs.

HELP NEEDED

Individually wrapped candy is needed for the Carl Perkins Center.  The Sunshiners will be preparing over 200 bags for Easter.  Candy can be placed in the containers located in the stairwell foyer by April 4.

DIRECTORY UPDATES

Brent Clark is now worshiping near Lexington.  Becca Redmond has moved back to her home in Lewisburg, Tennessee.  Chuck and Dawn Cooper have moved to 115 Augusta Drive, Three Way, Tennessee 38343.

YOUTH NEWS

High School Devotional: The High School devotional will be Sunday night, March 14, following services, at the home of Chad and Ramonda Scott.  All high school teens are encouraged to attend.  The address is 96 Walnut Trace.

IN MEMORY


Coastal Enterprises, Inc., Jacksonville, North Carolina has given a donation for our New Horizons in memory of Jim Longmire.
Gifts have also been received in memory of Betty Jackson and Nell Butler from Group # 3.

GOLDEN LUNCH BUNCH
The Golden Lunch Bunch will be Saturday, March 13, noon, in the fellowship room.  Group # 5 will be host.

GOSPEL MEETING


James Meadows will be with us in a gospel meeting April 4 - 7.  James is the Director of the East Tennessee School of Biblical Studies in Knoxville, Tennessee.  He's an outstanding Bible student.  His wife plans to come with him.  Brother Meadows will teach the combined Bible class (all adults and young people grades 6 and up) on Sunday morning.  Potluck meals are planned as follows: Group # 2 - Sunday noon; Group # 3 - Sunday night following services; Group # 4 - Monday night; Group # 5 - Tuesday night; Group # 1 - Wednesday night. 

APPRECIATION

Thanks to Michele Verell for taking the lead in organizing and getting classrooms ready for the recent changes because of the addition of new babies.  Thanks to several who assisted her.  Michele uses her talents for the Lord in many ways.  We appreciate you, Michele.
