Dear Mom
Just a short note to let you know how life is going these days.

First, I've figured out how to install seats on inner-tubes for floating down the creek or in the lake like we used to do when we were kids.  Those were the days huh?

Another project I've put on the back burner till something major kick-starts it is those steps I was telling you about previously.  Remember how much you worried about us slipping in our yard after you saw how steep it is?  Don't worry for us - worry for other folks who don't have them.
I know there are a lot of people with questionable footing.

Did I tell you Winky is starting to sell some of her art work/hand-crafts on eBay?  She finally sold her first foam head the other day.  It really made her day!  I've listed some other stuff on eBay for her and maybe it will sell also.

You know that we're also selling books on eBay too don't you?  We dove in  November '03  after getting a new computer and hi-speed connection to download pictures.  It's pretty successful all considered.  After collecting all those books for so long, we decided to try this method before obligating ourselves to a traditional retail operation.  We sure don't miss the headaches like we experienced at One Books.  I guess it's a trade-off there and it was a different time and place too.

The cats have to work twice as hard keeping strangers out of the yard and off premises since Ruby left on 5/25/04.  We sure miss her a LOT!  Don't know when we may get another dog.

I've all but stopped looking for other work outside of what I just mentioned. The skills I've learned throughout my life are helping me now-a-days, so they must be paying off.

I sure miss you and Grady since you left - a LOT.  Maybe you will get these keystrokes where-ever you are.

All my love -
t
