| History: Hendricks, a poor daughter of working-class parents in Mississippi, turned to amateur wrestling as a means of direction in her youth following several arrests for petty crime. Unsuccessful in school, the naturally-athletic Hendricks used her ability to excel in several sports. Unfortunately, fellow women failed to provide Ashley with the challenges she required, and she took to competing against men. In well-publicized civil trials, Ashley won court case after court case, allowing her to compete at different levels against male opponents. Ashley successfully won a sports scholarship to the University of Mississippi for women's college softball, but made her real mark on the men's wrestling team, defeating opponents twice her size with her speed and superior skills. During her college years, Hendricks was trained by retired pro wrestling veteran Burt McConnell in the famed 'Wolverine Gym' in Jackson, Mississippi. Though she managed to attain a Liberal Arts degree from her alma mater off her athletic scholarship, there was no question what Ashley wanted to do -- pro wrestling had worked it's way into her blood. To date, Ashley has brought her skills around the independent circuit for several years, at one point a loyal member of Jimy Holiday's "Chosen Few" in the now-defunct GCW. She has also wrestled in NPW, NWCW, and CCW. Currently, she is in semi-retirement as she chases a Master's Degree, and is the Chief Trainer at the Jack Mace Wrestling Training School in Ottawa, Ontario. |
| Description: Athletic, slim woman with straight reddish brown hair to her shoulders tied back in a tail. Hendricks wrestles in sleeveless, amateur style trunks, which covers her torso and ends at her thighs. She wears kneepads, small elbowpads, shin-high boots bearing the initials OMR, and tapes her wrists and fingers for each bout. Pretty, smallish and intense-looking, Ashley possesses a "girl-next door" look in her truly athletic physique. |
