Alcohol or drugs may not be used or stored in the 4-H barn. Failure to follow this ule will result in ineligibility to show in the the 4-H show. 1. Certificate of current Cogginss (within last 36 months) must be presented to shwo secretary before the show begins. 2. Horse being shown must be listed on a member's signed Animal Approval Form which must be presented to the show secretary. 3. Exhibitors may ride only one horse. Two riders may share one horse as long as it appears on both members' Animal Approval Form and they ride in different categories. 4. Exhibitors may show in only one category (English, Western or Walk-Trot). 5. All exhibitors must enter showmanship and equtation classes. No premiums will be given for these classes, but eachm ember who rides in the classes will receive the Worthy exhibitor premium. 6. Junior exhibitors age 9-13. Senior exhibitors ages 14 and up. Walk trot category is for ridrss who have never shown at canter. 7. 4-H exhibitors must wear an ASTM/SEI approved helmet and proper footwear any time they are mounted on a horse. 8. All grooming, stable work, and show preparation is to be done by the 4-H member. Members may be assisted by other members. Parents or adult volunteers should be present as younger members work to intervene in case of a safety emergency. 9. No stallions. 10. Proper English or Western attire must be worn.
