Girl Scout Derby - Sheri E. wants to thank all of the troops for their excellence! Clean-up was great! The positive atmosphere was also a treat. Way to go girls! Visiting Artist is Saturday, February 10, 2007 at North Presbyterian. Registrations w/check due tonight. Troop 452 Gold Award Project is to provide books to needy children in the Ramsey county area. "The Alley Shoppe Book Stop" is the name of their project. What can you do to help, you ask? Well, you can bring books (in good condition) to the March Leader meeting or you may contact Emily, 779-6569 or Asha, 773-8121 to schedule a delivery. Annual Giving Challenge - The goal set for the Service Team was $120. They collected $150! And that includes only those who were present! The Service Team challenges the Leaders to surpass their goal of $350. Are YOU up to the challenge? Adult Recognitions are due March 1st. Nominate your co-leader! We have many great leaders who deserve recognition.If you need help getting started with the paperwork, call Mary Z. at 484-9425. Sundae Funday is March 11, 2007. Sundae Funday is a small carnival that funds next year's Visiting Artist program. It is open to families, friends and the entire community. Lots of fun for the kids! Advance tickets are available at a reduced price. Set-up begins at noon, carnival runs from 2 - 4 pm, quick clean up to follow. Each troop is asked to bring donations: 5 two-litre bottles of soda, 5 silent auction items, 5 large bags of chips, and 5 cakes or boxed cakes. Larger troops are asked to bring more. Call Joan D. to get more details. 777-4048. Day Camp will be July 30-August3, 2007. This year's theme is "Girl Scouts: Past, Present & Future!" The Day Camp committee will have a brainstorming session on Friday, February 16th, 6:30 p.m. at North Presbyterian in room 13. We need your help! Please consider joining us. New leaders are strongly encouraged to join us. It's a great way to meet other leaders! Annual Meeting was held in January. Much discussion was about the realignment of council.
