My Other Pets
These are pictures & stories of all of the other pets that either I or my parents own.
I just thought I would share them with you!
ENJOY!
This is Ashleigh.  She is my miniature schnauzer.  I got her for my 13th birthday and she's already 9 years old---but still a feisty little thing!!!
This is Tess.  She belongs to my mom.  She is a purebred Airedale.  I think she's about 3 years old now? Anyways--she should have been a BLONDE!!
(Don't get offended-I am blonde, but she acts like one)
This is Daisy.  She's one of my cats that live at my parents house.  She's an absolute sweety, and was a great mom!  But she's retired now from that job!
This is Hunter.  His mom is Daisy & his dad is Stubby.  He's the last of the Daisy kittens.
This is Stubby.  He was a stray cat that my mom & I tamed.  Now his favorite hobby is to soak up the sun.  Someone must have shot him with a shot gun, because his tail was falling off when he arrived and you could feel lead under his skin on his back.  But now he has a great home!!
This is my mom's horse Ozzie.  His registered name is Golden Collectabull.  He is double registered as a Quarter Horse and as a Palomino.  He's a 5 year old gelding.  We've owned him since he was 3 months old.  Oz has been shown at open, AQHA, and PHBA (Palomino Horse Breeders Assoc.) shows and has done quite well in Halter & in Showmanship.
But right now he just mows the grass in the field for us.  I stopped showing him because it was too hard trying to show 2 horses at the same time.  Maybe someday my mom will show him again.  Otherwise if I want to kick some butt again in Halter, I'll fit him up myself and show him again.
This is Thunder-show name "Thunder Be Good" (there's a story behind that name).  Thunder was my first horse I ever bought.  I had a pony when I was a kid, but he was the first big horse I ever had.  I was born a horse-lover, and tease my other horse friends that it's actually a disease that we are born with, or maybe an addiction would be the best way to describe it.  Anyways I had to show my uncle's diary cows (Holsteins) to earn enough money to pay for him myself.  He, too, is retired from the show ring for now, although I did win many awards while showing him.  He was retired partly because he was shot in the face during deer hunting season and had to be laid up for a while, and that's when I bought my other horse Reggie, and partly because he does tend to spook at things sometimes.  But he was and is my first love.  And he's my most honest, hard-working horse.  So for being that, he gets to spend his days eating grass and making sure no dogs come into his pasture.  Anyways, enough babbling on my part---this is Thunder.
I also own another horse named Reggie, and my parents own a filly named Aimee.  I will have pictures of them up soon.  I hope you enjoyed my pets and their stories.
