| This year, the American Cancer Society is sponsoring the very first Relay For Life Event, in Ogdensburg, New York. The event is slated to kick off on June 8, 2007 at 6:00pm, at Ogdensburg Free Academy. This event is a 15 hour Relay - Style Team Walkathon and fundraiser, geared to raise awareness and funding to help find a cure for CANCER. Relay For Life is a Night of Empowerment. One night dedicated to urge communities across our nation to come together and not only recognize those who have survived or succumbed to CANCER, but to build HOPE that one day these deadly diseases will be no more. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Luminaries are a wonderful way to remember a loved one who has been affected by a Cancer illness. The RFL Event hosts a Luminary Ceremony at Dusk, during the day of the event. During this event, lighted luminaries circle the track "In Honor" or "In Memory" of a loved one. For a $5 donation for each Luminary, payable to the American Cancer Society, you can remember a loved one during this one-of-a-kind ceremony. You may purchase your Luminaries through Team DayDream Believers, to help us meet our funding goal.
