| As a single mom, I spend much of my time catering to the needs of my only child and my animals. Although, they take up much of my time, I still am able to enjoy some of my hobbies, and keep up on current events. |

| Scrappbooking Scrappbooking is a creative and colorful method of dressing up my ordinary photos. Using a variety of papers, die cuts, and embellishments, I create memorable photo albums, that are just too beautiful to hide away in storage. |
| Quilting I consider myself to be a "beginner" quilter, however, my older sister is the "expert" quilter in the family. Miniature quilts are my favorite sewing projects. I love the creativeness of picking out the color skeens, and putting it all together. A small finished product can take me a day or two (if I have nothing else to do). |

| Jewlery Making One of the most unique hobbies I've ever gotten into, is jewlery making. There's something to be said for owning a piece of jewlery that is exclusive to you. My favorite type of jewel is the Swarovski Crystals. Elegant faceted crystal shapes are sold in a variety of sizes and colors. The best assortment comes from FIRE MOUNTAIN GEMS. |
| Other Crafts Occasionaly, I will resume some other form of crafting that I have done in the past. I enjoy counted cross-stitch and I've completed some plastic canvas projects. My sister tried to teach me tole painting, but I didnt have much patience for that, at the time. Now and then I will pick up a paint brush and try again. I've also attempted to teach myself Donna Dewberry's One Stroke Techniques. THAT, takes a LOT of patience and practice. |

| Flower Gardening Mom and I both like flower gardening. Spring 2005, I landscaped a giant flowerbed, for her. Summer 2006, I dressed it up with scalloped edging stones. Violets, pansies, and peonies are my favorites. |
