| Mocha came to live with us, on October 21, 2006. Born into a litter of orphans, rescued by the Potsdam Humane Society. She was about 5 weeks old when we adopted her, but she's growing fast. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Of all the animal shelters I've been into, I'm mostly impressed with the Potsdam Humane Society. They are one of few animal shelters that has a "no euthanize" policy. All of their animals that are up for adoption are spayed or neutered. Each animal receives a very small tattoo on their belly, to signify what shelter the animal came from, and their "altered" state.
