3/4 lb snow pea pods
1 carrot, cut into julienne strips
1/2 tsp freshly grated orange rind
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
Place pea pods and carrots in a strainer. Set the strainer in the sink and pour boiling water over the vegetables for about one minute. Pat dry.
Place vegetables in a medium size bowl and stir in orange rind, oil and seeds. Serve warm or at room temperature.
