Easy Ranch Cheese Ball
 

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened well
1 (1 ounce) package dry ranch dressing mix
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans or roasted slivered almonds
 
 

In a medium size bowl, mash the softened cream cheese. Mix in the ranch dressing mix.

Add shredded cheddar cheese and shape the mixture into two balls. Roll each ball in the chopped nuts (either pecans, almonds or walnuts). Roll in plastic wrap and keep refrigerated until served. Remove from fridge to soften up some before serving (best on Triscuits).
