1/3 c butter
1/2 to 3/4 c white sugar
2 Tb cornstarch
1 1/2 c water
1/4 to 1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 medium cooking apples, sliced into rings
about 1/2 inch thick
In a Silverstone or Teflon pan, melt butter and stir in sugar and cornstarch. Mix together and add other ingredients. Cover and cook over medium heat until apples become tender and the sauce thickens (about 12 to 15 minutes).
This sauce is great as a side dish to pork
chops, or as a dessert over vanilla ice cream!
