Terry was awarded a fellowship in 1991for 30 years continuous years as N.E Area Chairman. A position he has held for 10 of the last 12 years. A prolific flyer of free flight, control line and radio. Terry also serves as Airfield Liason Officer for Albaemarle Barracks Gary has been flying since 1970, and is currently Area Vice- Chairman having been a club delegate since 1990. Main interests are large scale aerobatics, floatplanes and occasionally helis, slope and both R/C and F/F ondoor. Won Woodvale Imac comp 1995, F3A Masters Aerobatic flyer and qualified judge. Membership Secretary for the LMA and part of the organizing committee of Northumbrian Model Air Show. A large model event held at long horsely since 1993 Mike started flying controll line as a teenager in the 1970s with a special interest in combat. He jiones Hartlepool Model Flying Club in the 80s frying mostly R/C, and in 2000 became an examiner. Main interest are sport aroebatics and indoor R/C Tom is secretary / treasurer of Sunderland & District mac, and has been involved in all the branches of aeromodelling for 1/2 a centuary. For the last 24 years Tom has been BMFA Area Treasurer, and was awarded the Arthur Mullet Tropthy for services to aeromodelling in 1999. Allan returned to modelling in 1983 and has represented Guisborough Club continuously for 19 years, he has also been a Director of the society in one capacity or another since 1988. serving 4 years as society Vice Chairman & 2 as PRO. Joined SMAE / BMFA in 1957 and originally flew control line and single channel R/C, in the old Gateshead Club. Then moved to competition free flight power and rubber from the early sixties.
