(Druidic) and, Many other names depending on the Tradition you
follow. Traditions following the Journey of the Lady and The Lord
consider this a time when their powers are at their peak. Many
reguard this as a Fire festival and celebrate the triumph of
the sun.

Balefires are lit on Midsummer's Eve for purification,
fertility and love. A good time for love and healing magics as
well as communicating with the Faeries and forest Sprites.

Throughout history Pagans and Witches alike have and still
celebrate at outdoor locations like hilltops or beaches, Where ever
