PHUENTSHOLING :
(The Gateway of Bhutan) . Visitors are greeted by a typical Bhutanese Gate at the entrance to the modern town of Bhutan . All the trading centres are situated in this city.On the top of the hill , nearby Kharbandi a small Gompha was reconstructed by Quen Phuntsong Chhoden,grand mother of present King .The Amochu commonly known as Torsha river , is a unique spot for fishing and picnic.The wealth of wildlife is also immense here.

THIMPU:
The capital of the Kingdom of Bhutan , also the administrative headqurters , where lies the esteem beauty of nature,surrounded by ever lush green valleys. It is about 179 km from Phuentsholing (6 Hrs. drive ).On the way one can get a spectacular view of hydro-electric project Chhukha of the Thimpu stands the historic Simtokha Dzong built in 1627 . This is the oldest castle of Bhutan.At Dechencholing a short distance from Thimpu is the royal palace.
PARO:
The air gateway to the kingdom of Bhutan. The air trip is a memorable experience as you fly over the world's highest and majestic peaks. In Paro you can get spectacular view of the fertile Paro valley , the colossal Paro Dzong , and the winding Paro Chu river. Paro is the homeland of many historical monastries like Taktsang or "Tiger's Nest." From Paro , Mt. Jumolhari peak or "Mount of Goddess " is clearly seen. You can also visit one of the holy Temples (Lakhangs) at Bhutan.
PUNAKHA :
The valley , famous for its unique climate , in which fruit trees bloom within the sight of the snowy mountains. The Punakha Dzong is the ancient capital of Bhutan.On the way from Thimpu to Punakha lies the Dochula Pass ( 10, 218 ft) site of one of the most enchanting views. The illumination of pink , yellow , white , red rhododendrone flowers , amongst the soft green of wild herbs and forest trees is an enchanting sight and a life time experience.
WANGDIPHODRANG :
This valley lies on the east-west road beyond Thimphu. The striking Dzong at the junction of the rivers Sankosh and Tangchu guards the windy valley and for many centuries has been the seat of one of the most powerful Dzongpons. The higher region of the valley prodes richcattle pastures.
