The recent Northbay Summer Solstice road trip saw the first outing of our new 'Bat-tail' experimental skimboard. The board is a completely new design, featuring new geometry, new rocker and most importantly a new shape! The 'bat-tail' curves seen at the base of the board are a responce to the growing trends in skimboarding, which has seen many of the bigger 'So Cal' companies make such a shape change. The board is designed to more dynamic than our existing 'OCEAN PRO', Model, yet still has the super-stable feel.
The board is being devloped jointly between the Northbay 'Skunk' Works and Northbay's PRO Danny C. Danny C was riding the board during the recent road trip and seems to be very impressed with the boards proformance. There are still one or two quality control issues to be ironed out, but the board looks a good'un!
The board will be known as the RUG Pro, Gringo D Signature series, and will be available soon! Beams |
