Kingsthorpe
A popular place to live, Kingsthorpe has excellent
shopping facilities and easy access to fields and park.
Kingsthorpe is east and west of the Harborough Road and the main
shopping precinct is Kingsthorpe High Street with its shopping
centre. There are large parts of Kingsthorpe which are very old,
especially in the village to the west of Kingsthorpe. St Davids
to the east of Kingsthorpe is a rundown estate off Eastern Avenue
South with high levels of crime. Queens Park is in between
Kingsthorpe Road and Kingsthorpe Park and is north of Kingsthorpe
Hollow.
It is also home to Kingsthorpe Golf Course, a popular golf course
opposite St Davids.
Kingsthorpe has a range of flats, terraced houses and bungalows.
St Davids is mostly flats and terrace houses and Queens Park; a
series of terraced houses. There are two main supermarkets in
Kingsthorpe, Asda and Netto.
