Duston
Formally an old market town close to Northampton, Duston
is the largest estate in the borough. With a mix of bungalows,
elderly homes, flats and leafy suburb streets Duston is one of
the more tranquil estates to live in Northampton. Made up of
Bants Lane Estate, Chiltern Avenue Estate, Kerrfield, Cotswold
and Limehurst, probably the most roughest in Duston. Hopping Hill
does have a high level of crime for its small size, the estate
which is next to Lodge Farm is an exception most of Duston.
Duston does have a village feel in the older parts of the ward
and has numerous shopping squares in Limehurst, Peveril Road and
Chiltern Avenue.
