Briar Hill
Briar Hill and Camp Hill are two estates west of Far
Cotton and north of West Hunsbury. Briar Hill is acessable from
Rothersthorpe Road and Danes Camp Way, aswell as Camp Hill which
can be got to by Hunsbury Hill Road. Camp Hill is adjacent to
West Hunsbury and is a series of small cul de sacs. Briar Hill is
a housing estate with similar housing to that of Bellinge and
Thorplands, and why it is sometimes reffered to as the 'eastern
district of Far Cotton'. The railway line runs through Briar Hill
and is near the Hunsbury Hill Tunnel.
Briar Hill has a history of crime trouble, between 1996-2000
Briar Hill was a hub of ASBO behaviour although the rates were
not that of Blackthorn, actions were put into place to stop this.
Briar Hill also has an extremely high burglary rate.
