Tan (and Millie) at 9.5 yrs old (Tan, not Millie), he was in the Veteran Stakes at one of our Championship shows and was placed 4th out of about 20 dogs! He was also the first ever Buhund to appear as one of the last six in the Best In Show ring AT CRUFTS!! - even though it was for the Finals of the Kennel Club Junior Organisation Stakes - it was the last competition finals before the 'proper' Best in Show! | |

Scott, a wolf sable (Millie's favourite colour - though
we know
here it is not acceptable in the US!). He was born in 1991 and was out of a
Norwegian Import (from Leitegards) and Bibbi - though bred by Bibbi's
new owners. He was also successful in the ring, but he was
diagnosed with cataracts at the age of about 18 mths.

Sophie was my last Buhund, related to Scott (his
niece) I should have known that she would be affected with cataracts
too, again she too had a very successful show career prior to being
tested, and she has the accolade of being the first EVER dog to be Eye
Tested at Crufts!!
The Cocker Spaniel was my Thomas as a pup!
