The Smallhoof Woods

Curious to the nature of "The Trails" you begin a slow walk into the light woods that border the mountains. Suddenly in front of you appears a little creature, and more and more. The first one, a large filly, speaks "We are the Smallhoof. You are hunam." You nod slowly, not sure what to make of this. "I am Silverstream I come here from The Smallhoof fields, where I often reside" (aka Lady Starbreeze and I are sharing her since she was made for me but LS loves her so much) You smile at the small foal, so adorable."Do you wish to meet my family Hunam? Oh an I hail from Herd Two.." You nod, and she leads you to a young colt.

"This is my brother Aurburn Flame. He  is from Herd One" This colt looks more like a regular horse then a smallhoof, yet by the way he is built you can tell he is a smallhoof like his sister. "Hello" He says in an even tone, then laughs slightly. Groaning, Silverstream leads you away frim the laughing colt. She leads you to another filly, much like herself.

"Hello" the filly says in a singsong voice. "I'm Kelpie! I'm from Herd One of the Smallhoofs!" You grin as the blue filly dances around you, then out of sight into the neightboring woods."Come" Silverstream says "Come see my brother, the last foal. "

This colt looks more stern then his brother and Silverstream turns to you. "That is Tanis, the last brother, a herd Two foal  He is the youngest but much more mature then any of us.That may be due to the fact he was born with the rare mutation of antelope horns" He nods to you and continues on.

Suddenly Silverstream whirls to you, grins, and in the blink of an eye scampers off with her family, perhaps to the Smallhoof Fields, where their parents come from.

Note: The Smallhoof foals call themselves brothers and sisters, but the herd one foals are cousins to the herd two foals and vice versa
