| SLEEPAWAY CAMP Poop with CORN BITS OF BADNESS CHARACTERS Angela: Depressed main girl Picked on Crazy Ricky: Angela's step brother Has a potty mouth Paul: Ricky's friend who befriends Angela Judy: The usual evil slut character MEG: A very mean camp instructor Other random 80's slasher movie people are running around everywhere PLOT Just to start off I'm going to tell you a few things 1) That this isn't a good movie 2) That people only watch it because of the SHOCKER ending 3) those people are weirdos 4) In this movie the summer camp setting actually has kids in it Angela and Ricky go to camp and within about a week horrible accidents start happening to anyone who messes with Angela. About 99% of the people at this camp hate Angela because she's quiet and shy. After a few not very grisly murders there is the SHOCKER ending, which I believe was used just as a scapegoat for the writers to get out of actually writting. *Spoilers* OK as a word of warning if you feel desprate enough to watch this turd, then you need to understand a something. Angela is a SHE/MALE. That is the basis of the SHOCKER ending which this film is noted for. It's really disgusting and will scar you for life.* End Spoilers* SFX In this movie there's really not that many special effects. The kills are mostly hidden so there's no blood at all. The special effects that are in the last 10 seconds are perverted and disgusting and will scar you for life. GORE A large burn A messy severed head 100s of bee stings Random bodies with some blood on them, but nothing to get scared about WHAT I LEARNED In the 80's people dressed really GAY (Not in a happy sense) When a killer is at a camp all camp owners will chose to leave the camp open Never watch a movie that has achieved cult status for it's SHOCKER ending (At least without a barf bag) One of the Worst Slasher Movie Kills Ever This guy who threw a water balloon at Angela is poopin in a toilet stall. All of the sudden someone cuts open a screen window above him and tosses a bee hive through. As the bees are attacking him he's to stupid to open the stall or crawl under the door. It ends with him dead and the viewer laughing at the guys stupidity. Bottom Line Before I saw the movies last 30 seconds I was going to give it a 2 cheese grade but after I saw how disgusting the ending was, I immediatly changed my mind. I do have to admit that the SHOCKER ending did shock me like it was supposed to but, it was just too much. Though one might find the ending funny, which it was, It was just to weird for me. In all truthfulness SLEEPAWAY CAMP is just a cliched 80's slasher with an outrageous ending. You could defend the ending by saying that it did it's job, but I fealt that it was just too much. It overhadows the rest of the movie and the last frame sticks with you for a while after you see it. And that's not exactly aframe that you want to see.So if you do choose to test fate by watching this movie don't say I didn't warn you. (EVIL LAUGH) Muhuahahahaha |
