THE RUNNING MAN
A Random Action Filled 3 Cheeses

   Characters:
Ben Richards: ARNOLD         Tricked into going on The Running Man
His Two firends: Side characters who you know are going to bite it
   Amber: The resiquite female character
Killian: The host of The Running Man

PLOT
In the near future America has broken down and everything is in shables.
TV rules over peoples lives and the most popular program is a little
gameshow called THE RUNNING MAN. I bet you didn't see that coming.       In this happy future TV is used to keep the population from actually
speaking out. Bread and Circuses yeah!!!

Ben Richards is framed for murder and after escaping from prison he is
captured and forced to be a "volunter" contestant on T.R.M. We find out
about an underground resistance that is out to stop the EVIL network.

So as Ben and company run around a crumbling portian of LA they are
chased around by 4 different killers, known as stalkers. Dynamo, Buzzsaw,
Sub-Zero, and Fireball try to kill Ben, but because he's ARNOLD you
can guess what happens to them. And then Jesse Ventura is there playing
Captin Freedom a former stalker, who is there just to be Jesse Ventura.

SFX
The special effects in this movie consist of gun shots, explosions, and the           blue lightning that Dynamo shoots at people. For the 80's they all look
     better than average.

GORE
     One Exploding Head                 Bullet hits
     Some light blood spills

I Learned
The President will have an agent in the future
Like pro wrestlers it's impossible for a stalker to have a good name
ARNOLD has the super-human ability to think up one-liners at will

BEST QUOTE
"I'll be back"- ARNOLD steels his own quote from The Terminator.

BOTTOM LINE
The Running Man is one of those action/sci fi movies that uses a decent
plot to hold itself together. Even thoguh it's like many other movies
plots it still holds the viewers attention.
The plot tries to make itself sound
important by painting satrizing the worlds addiction to TV and violence,
but it really doesn't seem to fit because that's what you rent this movie
for anyways. But because this was an ARNOLD movie you can be
     promised a good time.

Also, The Running Man, is based on the book of the same name by
Richard Bachman, Stephen King's fake name. Really all that the two share
in common is the name, but they're both good in their own ways.
