     Freddy's Revenge: A Nightmare on Elm Street 2

          After the succes of NOES , the producers tried something different.
     Most people find this installment of the series to suck but I find it,
     a refreshing change of plot from the rest of the series. Instead of just
     killing people in their dreams Freddy, tries to posses the main character,
     Jesse, and bring himself into the real world. The worst thing about
     NOES 2 is that the main character is pretty much gay. the director
     denies it but when your main character goes to a gay bar and meets
     his gym teacher, you know something is up. One of the better in the
     series overall.

     A Nightmare on Elm Streeet 3: Dream Warriors
     4 Cheeses

          This is my personal favorite in the series. It goes back to the
     original plot with Nancy, but this time she's trying to help the kids
     at a mental institution fight Freddy. Still managed to be somewhat
     suspenceful at points and had some really cool scens. Like the part
     when Freddy rips out all the veins in a guys bosy and uses him as a
     puppet. Also It starts the trend carried on by the next few of each
     person having induvidualized nightmare according to their persona.
     The people also realize that they can control their dreams and fight
     Freddy.

     A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: Dream Master

     NOES 3 - Originaity - Nancy - Wes Craven - Quality = NOES 4
     The really only good thing is that they broguht back all the living
     characters from NOES 3 and then promptly killed them off. The
     special effects were ok too. Worst of all this is the installment where
     Freddy decides to become a comedian.

     A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child
     2 Cheeses

      Take NOES 4 and add a baby, characters that suck, and a more
      annoying Freddy. I hated all the character is this one, except the
      comic book guy, who I enjoyed whe he fought Freddy, and then died.
      for Elm Street purists only.

     Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare
     2D version: 2.5 Cheeses          3D version:

     Yes this movie has a 3D version that comes with the NOES DVD
     box set. It gets extra points because the 3D is so bad, it's funny.
     This one is better becasue even though Freddy stopped trying to be
     scary in NOES 3, he's actually amusing in this one. He has death by
     hearing aid, video game, and bed of nails. It's rather amusing. As
    all the haracters are so badly acted and stupid you actually like them.
     For some reason this movie is one of thos "so bad it's good"
     movies. It also goes into Freddy's mind and shows him as a person.
    But unfourtunatly it decides to show how Freddy gets his power,
    from dream demons. It's so bad, but in 3-D they're funny. Aside
    from those the special effects in this one are some of the best in the
   series So if you have to see this installment, make sure it's
   the 3-D version.
