He was burned to death by a group of parents out for vengance. Now he's back... Nancy and her friends are starting to have horrible nightmares about a man in a green and red sweater, with knives for fingers. Soon they start to be killed off inexplicably. Nancy soon discovers who this man really is. She also finds she can bring things out of her dreams. Nancy devises a plan to get Freddy but Glen is killed and her plan fails. What happens after that is almost impossible to explain. Nightmare on Elm Street has the weirdest ending to any movie I have ever seen. There are about a million ways to interperate it. SFX The special effects are really good in some parts while they get really cheesey near the end. Loved that blood gyser. But I Thought when Tina is dragged across the cieling it gets kind of disturbing. GORE Pretty nasty cut up body Freddy Blood Gyser Dripping blood I Learned You can get hurt in your dreams You can take things out of them too Dream killers have long arms and bad dispositions I Wondered How any of the stuff in the movie could make sense to any one Why Freddy didn't get the kids when they were little Why Freddy scared Tina with a goat in the first scene Bottom Line Nightmare on Elm Street is one of the scariest, coolest, most confusing movies I have ever seen. It also has one of the creepiest premises ever, you ever know wether the characters are in reality or not. Most of the movie doesn't make any sense but you should whatch it anyways. It's also a classic, and the begining to a pretty good horror franchise. |
