The house itself is a repilca Queenslander style (timber). We are within easy walking disatance of train and bus transport, & also a Brisbane River ferry service is only 2km away.
We offer one room for international students or backpackers. We hope to make your stay a pleasant one, with a peaceful rainforest type setting, labrador dog "Millie", two ckickens "Jenny & Jaffa" for our daily eggs, and your hosts Steve And Anne.
The Room- has 1 double bed and 1 single bed. A study desk could be arranged for the room if needed. Price is $120 for single occupants or if travelling or studying with a friend/partner then the cost is $200 for the room. Inclusive of this price is dial-up internet use, local phone calls, electricity, linen, use of all household appliances, and security of your belongings. All you need is to buy and cook your own food.
CONDITIONS
Strict No-smoking policy & no drugs. What we offer is peace, security, freindly conversation and good memories for your stay. We dont mind having a wine or a beer over dinner with a few friends, but we will not accept parties or any like behaviour at our house. $100 bond plus suitable id (passport, license)
Minimum stay is 3 nights at the rate of $20 per night/person. Extended stays of 3months or more can be negotiated. Payments are to be made in advance, but only 1-2 weeks notice is required to leave. We aim to be flexible for your benefit.
