Don't be fooled friends, you're not going to see a manga that i drew, because as of yet there ain't one. (hence the dot dot dot in the page title)

I started this in the beginning of 2003 because some friends and I had hookups with a printing press guy. We were all gonna draw a comic and have like 80 copies printed.

In usual industrial design fashion we got lazy and bogged down with other work.
I have about 10 BW pencil pages drawn up, but they're very light and sketchy, as i was intending to change them, before i made my final draft, all shaded and nice (i know that's not LIKE manga, but the characters are manga esque... so it is)
To give you some insight on why what you're seeing looks the way it does, i'll explain the story. I designed the story to be really in depth, and before i go any further i'll let you know i have copies of all this stuff mailed to my own adress and unopened.... so it's intellectual property....
The story is about humanity, reaching out to the stars too fast, so that they become scattered and weak. a breed of biologically/cybernetically-enhanced humans who want to exterminate the "weaker" breed to make way for the new wave of humanity are going from planet to planet doing just that.
The hero is one of these super-humans who doesn't like what his power-hungry fellows are doing, and so he finds planet earth, ruined, overgrown with plants  and lost. There he comes across an ancient book hidden in a giant ruin that was written by a ninja, teaching the art of invisibility and stealth. And so he decides to use these teachings along with his enhanced abilities to get justice on behalf of the people his race have killed. and so he goes from planet to planet targetting the few others like him.
I also decided that every time he defeated his enemy, he would be able to steal their power (megaman anyone?) by way of his cybernetic body absorbing data, and biological secrets.
Originally the hero was going to be bound up totally in black bands.... pretty mysterious, but too egyptian.
The ninja's nano-equipped body would be able to manufacture devises incorporated into his body for specific purposes... he's like an ultra-slow pre-meditated shape-shifter. These hand hooks were for wall climbing, or could be shot out with cords attached to entangle an enemy.

he's starting to look more like what i want him to.
This was to be the first 2 page spread for the comic, with some story about him finding the ninja-text on earth... his look has changed since this though.
This is pretty much his final form, In the comic he seems to just pull weapons out of anywhere. I don't need to explain how, because part of ninjitsu is hiding your weaponry... DECEPTION! :D His left forearm is bound up because it's the one that absorbs the enemy-powers... and FYI, even though Vash the stampede has a secret gun in his left arm,  i thought of this before i even saw trigun... it just so happens to be the same arm.
This dude was a mysterious do-gooder that would show up now and again to help out. never talking. The story behind him is that his tribe uses bio-modified plants that are made to grow into specific uses... be it armor, weaponry, or an air-filter. He's kinda like an eco-friendly samurai.
Just a concept for a bad guy.
Looks like this one has killed a few of our plant-loving samurai and stolen their clothes.
My "footsoldiers" ala ninja turtles. These are minions that the enemy cyborgs use.. rather than a human with a robotic body, these are reanimated bodies controlled by a crude robo-brain.
AH, a final boss. This guy is not recognizable as a human or a machine..... he's got a cool looking sword-hilt there. but what does it do? We'll have to wait and see.... maybe the main character can take it.
