Then storms of fear soon swept away That trust you found in Me. Hungry then, you asked for bread. Men gave to you dark stones Of hell and darkness forever more For all that you do wrong. Do wrong Alone again with death and sin You yearned for light and love As darkness fell, those gates of hell Even shook your stars above Wise words upon dead tongues of fools Bring death, not life to men. My Word of life soars in the wind On living wings of love, Of love Come in my silent wander Where Living Waters flow With Spirit and in Truth, My son Over lifeless silent stone Hear Me now My son, My light, My love, Be lifted in My wind.
