Joe and Alice are lost in a deep forest. It’s getting cold and dark and they don’t know what to do.

Suddenly they reach an old, crumbling house. Joe knocks on the door and Joe fear something and say “Is there anybody?” But there is no answer from old crumbling house.

Joe: Let’s go into the house!

Alice: I’m really scared. Please stop, Joe…

Joe: But the outside is dangerous very much because it’s getting cold and dark. And we don’t　know way to home. We can’t do in any way.

Alice: But…

Joe: Alice!! Do you want to go back home? Me, too. So today we should stay one night.

Alice: O.K. I understand.

-They go into the house. Nobody is there. However they are full of the rubbish. They put thing for a moment and make space for sleeping.

Alice: I’m cold. Joe. Is there any blankets?

Joe: I’m looking for it now. Wait… Oh! I get one blanket. But (unfolding) oh, no, it is a too small… Alice here you are.

Alice: Thanks, Joe. But you are O.K?

Joe: O.K. I’m a man. I can sleep without a blanket.

Alice: Joe, please throw temper. Let’s use together!

Joe: O.k. Thanks, Alice. It’s getting warm a little. By the way, do you have a food?

Alice: No. I think you have.

Joe: What’s!? I said to you “ Please take something to eat. “

Alice: I can’t hear. What do we do? I’m hungry.

Joe: Me, too. What is there something to eat here?

Alice: Shall we find.

-They rustle. Then a pretty squirrel appears. They are surprised. A squirrel says

Squirrel: Shall I help you?

-They are surprised more and more.

Alice: Joe? What do you say?

Joe: No, I speak no wards.

-They look at each other. And Joe and Alice say

J&A: Can you speak?

Squirrel: Yes!! I’m animal who can speak. It has reason of mystery. My name is Betty. What’s your name?

Alice: I’m Alice and this is my old brother, Joe.

Betty: What do you look for?

Joe: We don’t have food. Please give something to eat?

Betty: O.K. Do you like seeds?

Alice: Seeds!?

Joe: Alice! We have never eaten seeds. But we can try!

Betty: O.K. Wait a minutes.

-Betty go away

Alice: Joe, I don’t want to eat a seed.

Joe: It may be delicious. Alice only today…

Betty: Here you are. This is colorful beans. It has enough nourishment.

Alice: It’s so cute. Can I eat really?

Betty: Of course. You imagine pour seed?

Alice: …Yes. Sorry. Oh, it’s very delicious.

-They talk about many things for a while.

Joe: Now is late. Shall we go to bed? Betty do you know way to town?

Betty: I don’t know. But Ben knows everything. Let’s go to Ben’s house tomorrow.

Alice: Great!! Good night Joe and Betty.

-they fall asleep.

-Next morning

Betty: Good morning, Joe and Alice. Let’s move and go!!

Joe: Good morning, Betty. How long dose it take way to Ben?

Betty: Well… Maybe it takes a half day.

Alice: Half day!?

Betty: Don’t worry! I have a tool which can bring us Ben’s house in a moment.

Alice: I can’t believe it is true?

Betty: Yes. Are you ready? One, two, three…Bon!!...

-At Ben’s house. …Bomb!!…

Ben: Welcome to my house. We meet a long time.

Betty: Please tell Joe and Alice way to town.

Alice: Please!

Joe: please, Ben. We are in trouble.

Ben: O. K. But there is only one way to town. And the way is very dangerous. Are you O.K.?

Alice: Yes Maybe our parent have anxiety. We want to go back home as soon as possible.

Ben: Oh, I understand. I tell you only way is making a bridge.

Joe: Making a …

Alice: Bridge!? Is it big bridge.

Ben: Yes. And the bridge must be made by a special tree.

Joe: Special tree? Where is it?

Ben: There is a big river near here. The tree is by river. Betty, become guidance. I can’t move because I have a sore foot.

Betty: O.K. Ben. Joe, Alice, let’s go together!

Joe: Thanks. Ben.

Alice: I never forget your kindness. Good bye.

Ben: Good luck.

-They walk and go to river. They look for special tree.

Alice: This tree?

Betty: I don’t know.

Joe: There are many trees. We tell thing from another.

Alice: I want to cry.

-Alice cry at last. A tear fall to ground then a one tree shine.

Joe: That’s tree.

Betty: But we don’t have tool of cutting.

Alice: There is somebody over there, look. He has a hatchet.

Joe: Hey!! Please lend me a hatchet?

Man: Wait.

-He flies here. And he asks them.

Man: Why are you here?

Joe: We are lost in forest. We are in trouble. And we must make bridge to go back home.

Man: I can’t understand well. But I give the hatchet. I’m Tom. Do you want to cut this tree?

Alice: Yes, please.

-Tom cut the tree and they carry it to the river. And build a bridge. Then they laugh.

Joe: Tom Thanks. We can’t make it without you. And Betty, too.

Alice: Thanks. Tom and Betty. I can go back home and meet my parent.

-Joe and Alice cross the bridge. They shout to Tom and Betty.

J&A: Thanks a lot. Good bye. We were terrible but we can meet you. So we feel reassured. Thanks.

T&B: Good bye. We glad to meet you.

-Joe and Alice run to their house. And their parent embrace them. But they don’t talk about Betty, Tom and Ben. It is secret of only Joe and Alice.
