NORFOLK ASIAN AMERICAN BASKETBALL LEAGUE

Just got the bill yesterday from the Southeastern Virginia Basketball Officials Association. If any teams want to take a look at the bill holla at me. The refs we are hiring are VERY professional and expect professionalism from the players. This means TIMELINESS. No CPT. That is one thing they stress and it also keeps our costs down. These guys are gonna make our league legitimate so we should show them respect just as they will show us respect. They are well trained and some have even ref'd High School State Championship games. Some games may even be officiated by 3 refs. These guys are good... so hopefully their shouldn't be too much biyatchin from players. This is gonna be fun...

I'm trying to schedule a meeting for the teams. Each team needs at least one representative to attend. We will go over the general rules and guidelines and Mr. Smith from the official's association will attend to answer any questions on gameplay or any other matters. I figure the best date to have the meeting will be around when fees are due (Sept. 5) or soon after that. Just one rep is needed but all players are welcome. I'll let you know the exact date soon.
And if anyone knows Ariel (G Squad) tell him to get back with me so I can get another contact number from him. Or if you're on his team contact me ASAP. Thanx.

We are still lookin for sponsors to take care of some of our expenses. It would help alot. If not, we'll still be aiight. But we have big plans and nowadays big plans means you need big money. So tell businesses (or really rich people) about our league. You might be surprised about how many people would love to help. Tell them to check out our website.
We also need DJs. Ask around and if anyone wants to be a part of the hype tell em to hit me up. This is gonna be a very unique league for Asian Americans and as the word spreads so will the popularity. We need at least 7 DJs. One for each day. We have some special guests in mind for Tournament Day but we'll let you know.

We are working this league from scratch. So PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE let me know if you DEFINITELY are gonna enter a team this year ASAP even BEFORE Sept. 5. We need the 8 teams set in stone in order to start planning payment arrangements for the gym and refs. And to make pay plans for teams that need extra time to find dough. So email the league or sign the guestbook saying,"Yeah We ballin..." Thats it. Easy, huh???
