| The League is currently seeking DJs to provide a more festive, entertaining, and unique flavor to the games. Unfortunately, our funds are so low that we will not be able to provide compensation for services. Rather, willing participants will be able to DONATE their time and skills to a very PROMISING and EXCITING endeavor. All DJs will be able to hone their skills in front of a decent sized crowd of people and get their name out on the street for what figures to be a very diverse crowd. This league is expected to be an annual event so be a part of it NOW. |
| The League is in the process of acquiring Lake Taylor Middle School as the site of all games. It is a centralized location to all the cities (kinda, sorry Peninsula), sports a FULL length floor with a regulation 3 point line, and the janitor informed me that they are reworking the floor. All we are waiting for is the principal to get back in town sometime this week (August 7th maybe) to give his approval. I personally spoke to him so it shouldn't be a problem. Then we need approval from the City of Norfolk which shouldn't be a problem either. I spoke to the lady over the phone about the league and she said it was a great idea and that SHE is ASIAN. Things are lookin good... |
