Future Tense

Vocabulary

1) tomar - to take / to eat / to drink

2) volver - to return

3 terminar - to finish

4) comer - to eat

This tense has no differences among "AR", "ER" and "IR" verbs.  The future (and conditional) tense do not remove the endings of the verb.  We keep the "AR", "ER", or "IR" at the end of each verb and add the following below.

Verb tomar volver elegir
(yo) tomaré volveré elegiré
(tú) tomarás volverás elegirás
(él/ella/Vd.) tomará volverá elegirá
(nosotros) tomaremos volveremos elegiremos
(vosotros) tomaréis volveréis elegiréis
(ellos/Vds.) tomarán volverán elegirán

This is the last of the three time tenses: the future.  We include the word "will" to all conjugations of a verb.  We will conjugate elegir: elegiré - I will elect, elegirás - you will elect, elegirá - he/she/it will elect, elegiremos - we willl elect, elegiréis - you guys will elect, and elegirán - they will elect.

The word "would" is included when conjugating a verb (instead of "will").  Here are the conjugations of tomar: tomaría - I would drink, tomarías - you would drink, tomaría - he/she/it would drink, tomaríamos - we would drink, tomaríamos - you guys would drink, and tomarían - they would drink.
