Leslie Hansen and her husband Pete are the parents of a wonderful 16 year old who identifies as a very androgynous, queer girl. When Sasha came out a couple of years ago, she asked her mom Leslie to help her connect with other gender variant young people. Positive Images (PI) is just the place for such connections! Sasha got what she needed at PI and Leslie became deeply involved there as well; she has been serving on the Board since November 2006. Leslie is a Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Petaluma.
Colin Close co-founded FTM Sonoma County in 2004 as a private, confidential network for transmasculine people and those they love. FTMsc provides support, information and referrals to the transmasculine community and fosters awareness, understanding and support in the broader community. Colin works as an administrative analyst by day. In his spare time, he does volunteer work with local non-profits and conducts community surveys. He loves being a husband to his wife Robin and father to his son Connor.
Delynne Rogers is a mother whose son told her at 15 that he was gay. She sought support with PFLAG (Parents, Family, Friends of Lesbians and Gays) in Santa Rosa. Her activism started in 2000 with a campaign against Proposition 22 and starting a PFLAG support group in Ukiah. Delynne is a founding member of the Pride Alliance Network in Mendocino County. She has served on the Board of PFLAG North Bay Chapter for nine years and is currently the President. By profession, she is a dental hygenist.
