ADOPTION
Adoption means, "to place in a family". In our time we think of it as taking in someone from outside the family and making them part of the family. Many think because we were not Jews by physical birth we were adopted into Yah’s family. This makes us not of the bloodline and therefore not in line to inherit from the Father. YahShua would then be our stepbrother and we would be only accepted because of adoption. I am speaking blood here. You know that everything in the Bible is reckoned by blood. In YahShua's time adoption meant to be placed in your own family as an adult in the family business. That is to become responsible as an adult member of the family with authority as an adult male in the household. In YahShua's time the sons were taught the family trade. YahShua was a carpenter. This trade he learned from Joseph.
Israelite Household
A Jewish household was characteristic of a clan. The head of the clan was the oldest male member of the family. We see a type of this in the story of Joseph. Even after Joseph was an adult and in authority in Egypt, we find his other brothers with their families still lived as a family unit with Isaac as head.
In the time of YahShua a family dwelling was a series of rooms build around a central garden with a water cistern and trees. Each room was the bridal chamber build by a son to bring his bride into. Several generations may dwell in one house complex. There could be as many rooms as there are male children, thus the construction of such a home was constantly being changed, or enlarged to accommodate the expanding family. Besides the family accommodations there were room for servants, and a room where the family applied the family trade. In YahShua’s natural family it was a carpenter shop. If it was a dwelling outside the walls of a city in an agriculture area even stables for the flocks and cattle become a part of the family dwelling. Nomads travel and live in clans with many generations represented.
YahShua’s household
YahShua said, “In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also.” In the NIV it says “rooms” instead of “mansions”. However, King James speaks also of the quality as well as quantity. In other words big luxurious place where we can dwell, not just a house as in earthly terms, but glorious as in mansions. Here we see in type how there are many rooms in preparation for the sons of Yah in their Father’s house, realm of existence. Note: The female children of a family, when married, left their family and went to dwell in the house of their husband.
Born, Not Adopted
"The Spirit Himself testifies with our Spirit that we are Yah's children.” I want you to know we are not descendants of Adam outside of the Jewish people, and adopted by Yah. We, by spiritual birth, are the sons of Yah. Our Father is Yah. “Now if we are children, then we are heirs of Yah and co-heirs with Messiyah”.
We are born of incorruptible seed, just as He was, and we are sons of Yah by birth. “No one who is born of Yah will continue to sin, because Yah's seed remains in Him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of Yah.”
“Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of Yah-- children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of Yah.” Note the word children. This is speaking of daughters as well as sons. Daughter are those who do not go on into sonship, but remain in the Fathers house.
“For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by Him we cry, "Abba, Father." ”
In Revelations twelve we see the two realms. One is caught up to heaven from whence we will appear, and the other remains in the earth realm and goes into the bridle chamber, or place of protection prepared for her where she is cared for. This body of believers are the female children, the realm that receives like a woman received the male. And sonship is male because it injects life, as in a man giving life to the seed within a woman. I am speaking in type and shadow here, and it is not to be taken in the literal sense.
Coming To Maturity
While the other children went about playing their religious games in the walled yards of denominations, the son is out in the field beside his Father, maturing, learning responsibility and getting to know his Father.
I am sure at times the sound of laughter and play from his old playmates drifting over their walled yards drawing his attention. He longs in his heart to join in their carefree play once more, but his father is quick to remind him that he is no longer one of them. He must now mature, become a man and learn to be a responsible member the family. He must learn the ways of his Father in business affairs. This is not easy, but very important for his future. Though he is heir to all things, while in training and immature he is no better than the servants, and under the watchful eye of the overseer just as they.
There is a special fellowship a boy has with is father that is called sonship. In reality a son is more a part of the father than even the wife for the father's blood flows in the son's veins, not so the wife, and carries his essence on in life. Thus sonship, spiritual birth, is better than salvation by faith, contractual legal intimacy. There are two realms here; Salvation, accepted by faith, and the experience of being born of the Spirit. Yah's ultimate plan is to bring many sons into Glory so that His fellowship can be complete.
The Placing
Then at a set time of the father a coming into adoption or maturity banquet is called in his son’s honor. The guests are important men in the community, elders, and those whom his Father does business with. At a certain point in the feast, the Father stands up and introduces his son to them and says, "This is my son in whom I am well pleased", ...today I set him in my stead. Any deal he makes with you is the same as making it with me, and I will back it". Thus the boy takes his place of responsibility in the kingdom and family as a fully mature son. The banquet is being prepared and the invitations have gone out.
Birthed Out
It is time for man to be allowed back into the Garden of Eden which is everlasting life. The church age has closed, and the elect, like a bride in the parable, has gone out to meet the bridegroom. Again this is type and shadow and not to be taken literally. The virgin is with child and travails to bring full delivery. As sons of Yah, we are birthed out of the corporate body of believers. Although we are birthed out, at present, we are still attached to the body by the umbilical cord. She has not expelled the placenta as of yet, thus as a whole the sons still have attachment to the body. In Rev 12 we see a prophetic type and shadow, sign of what is now happening in Yah’s plan. As the sons are birthed out they are being caught up to heaven, the realm in Yah, from which we will be manifested to the world in Yah’s timing. The next great move of Yah is the manifestation of the sons of Yah.
Yah's concern has always been to bring man to understand their new nature and take their place as sons of Yah. Whether man receives or rejects them, creation will welcome them with open arms. It knows what Yah is doing, and that it will partake of the freedom from decay and death that comes with the manifestation of the sons of Yah.
What will the manifestation of the sons of Yah mean? It will mean the end of death and decay! The redemption of the body! Mortal clothed upon with immortality! Sonship! The corruptible body, from which the son comes, putting on incorruptible, which is everlasting life. Stick around a few years and you will begin to see a manifestation of this coming out of the wilderness that will have this truth working in them.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of Yah is with man, and He will live with them. They will be His people and Yah Himself will be with them and be their Elohim. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or morning or crying of pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” And again, “...Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
All of creation will partake of the blessings of the sons of Yah. The church is cared for in an intimate place of Yah's protection. Those with enough love of Yah to press toward the mark of sonship, the high calling, will be manifested in the earth to bring a consummation to the plan of Yah for humanity. I am always available to answer the questions of a hungry heart. It is Yah's will that we help one another up the hill to transfiguration. However, keep in mind that it is not revelation knowledge that we should seek, but "HIM". Spiritual understand will automatically come as we become more aware of "HIM" and become more like "HIM". Many fall short of full sonship by becoming too caught up in the revelation, and not caught up "IN HIM". "HE" must have preeminence in our life even in our getting of revelation knowledge. I can not stress this enough.
