Seed of Abraham
Abraham started out from Chaldea with the name Abram. He was a Chaldean, not a Israelite. Further more Issac was not a Israelite either, and neither was Jacob. Abram's grandson Jacob had a encounter with the Almighty Yah of Heaven and his name was changer to Israel. His twelve children became the nation of Israel. Abraham’s seed, as in one, was YahShua Messiyah not the natural Israelites. Abraham’s natural descendents were through Isaac as Yah testified, for he was of supernatural divine birth, not a natural one prefiguring the Messiyah to come. This is precisely why YahShua said to the religious leaders of His day. "You are of your father the devil." What a slam to their ego. He was saying not only that you are not Abraham's children, but children of Adam. They followed their lineage through Abraham, but in reality it was through Abram, the flesh man, and a descendant of Adam, the fallen man. They were no better in standing with Yah than Esau’s descendants, for they too belonged only to the flesh of Abraham, which makes their father Abram, son of Adam. "Cast out the son of the bondwoman for through Isaac shall your seed be reckoned.
So, we see two promises at work here, one to Abram’s seed, the flesh man, or religious man, and another to the spiritual man who is by divine birth, and through supernatural intervention. Religion is outward ordinances, rituals, formulas, and religious acts of piety. Abram means, "high father" – Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary. Theirs is a natural inheritance, and he has many seeds just as Yah foretold. Then Abram had an encounter with Yah, and Yah changed him, and his name became Abraham. If you think you are the seed of Abraham, as many proclaim, and his blessings fall upon you then are you not carnal and fleshly, not even a Israelite. You are just religious, saved by FAITH as was Abram because he believed Yah and it was accounted to him for righteousness, right standing with Yah. Divine birth comes through the Messiyah, the spirit man who is the seed of promise, which Issac was a type because he was of supernatural birth. The second promise Yah made after he had changed his name to Abraham was that he would be the Father of many nations, for that is what the name Abraham meant.
Abram
Now, this is the story as it unfolds; "And Yah appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land, and there builded he an altar unto Yah, who appeared unto him." This is Abram’s promise, and the natural seed are at present possessing their inheritance with all religious fervor.
Abram had a real experience with Yah, and he heard Yah’s voice to come out of his country, which represents sin. He was a maker of idols, a very religious man with potential to do the will of Yah. So, Abram started out as Yah directed. Abram came out as Yah told him, but he sojourned in the promise land. The word sojourned means, "A temporary stay; a brief period of residence". Religion is a temporary state, but we are to move on into spirituality, and possess it. Most Christians today are religious sojourners because they are Abram seed, dwelling in the temporal land of religion.
The problem is that the religious man needs things they can see, and touch, something their carnal minds can relate to.
The descendants of Abram, religious people, who has been called out of sin to be a people unto Yah, did as their father many centuries ago. The temples and churches, all with altars, are made unto the god that they have seen, and they dwell there. Religious man is bound to the carnal realm. It is not enough to come out of something. We must allow the Spirit to take that something out of us. However, Yah has promised to give to Abram's seed “this land” where their feet trod. Now let’s not get carnal here. I am not talking about a race of people in Israel, but those saved by faith. The land I am speaking of is religion as we know it. Paul made a bold statement when he said, "Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children. But, in Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, they which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of Yah." YahShua said it another way, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot ENTER into the kingdom of Yah. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." The soulish man is Abram’s seed. The man of divine birth is born of incorruptible seed, by the Spirit. The religious Jews in YahShua time were quick to point out that they were Abraham’s seed, and YahShua was just as quick to point out that they were not. "They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. YahShua saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham." What marks you as a seed of Abraham? "For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed Yah, and it was counted unto him for righteousness, for by grace are ye saved through faith. " Abraham descendant the Messiyah is by divine intervention, the uncorruptable seed by birth. And, this same calling is to whosoever will. Sarai I want you to notice that Abram’s wife is named Sarai, not Sarah. Sarai means "a head person, dominating." Abram told the king of Egypt, a type of sin, that Sarai was his sister. He was willing to sacrifice his wife to save his own life. Religious people have been sacrificing their souls, their wife, to the king of sin and bondage ever since. Here is where the problem arises. The soul, Sarai, who is dominating, wants to become the "power and ability" or take the masculine roll. The soul or human reasoning tries to ascend on its own merit into the realm of Yah bypassing the life giving spirit that is needed, and all that is produces is religious ability, not spirituality. Religion is of the soul, but spirituality is in the heart of the spirit. Religion, in effect, is the Harlot of the book of Revelation. She has gained "ability" by religious emotionalism, and the "authority" she has set up to operate through is denominational organizations, the first beast. Yah is calling His people out of the temporal into the spiritual, out of the soul realm into the realm of the spirit. He takes no delight in carnal religion, but delights in the spiritual man who is being conformed into the image of His dear Son. So, the Spirit of Yah calls to us, "...Saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and Yah hath remembered her iniquities." And, in another place Paul says, "And what agreement hath the temple of Yah with idols? For ye are the temple of the living Yah; as Yah hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their Yah, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Yah of heaven, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith Yah Almighty." Once we finally hear the voice of the Spirit and bring the soul into submission to the spirit man, we find ourselves back at square one, back where the sojourning began. We see it in Abram's journey. "And he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Hai; Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of Yah." Abram’s Covenant "And the Almighty said unto Abram after that Lot, his religious family, was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee." Abram was to walk out his inheritance, and Yah promised to give him every place he walked. Like most carnal minded Christians, Abram saw the physical and embraced it as his. They build bigger and bigger churches and cathedrals, gathering larger and larger crowds. This is religion. This is Abram’s seed possessing the land. They appeal to the soul of man with games, entertainment and doctrinal teaching that satisfies the mind. This is antichrist. Antichrist should be rightly rendered as antimessiyah. Antichrist comes from too root words, anti meaning, "other than or opposite". This does not necessarily mean "against" as we have been taught. There is a more subtle idea here rather than just blatantly "against". And, Christ which means, "anointed one". I am using Greek terminology here. Any ministry not ordained by Yah is antichrist; any ministry ordained by man is antichrist. Anything "other than or opposite" the anointing of Yah’s Spirit is the spirit of antichrist. Religion is antichrist, because they hold out emotionalism "other than" the anointing of the Holy Spirit, a religious spirit as "opposed" to the Spirit of Yah. Well, Yah told Abram to walk, and you know what? We find him building another alter. "Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Almighty." And, it says, "... He dwelt there". Old ways are hard to lay down especially when they seem good. The church moved out of fundamentalism, and walked into Pentecost, and built an altar there. The church has dwelt in Pentecost every sense. Now let me show you just how carnal we can be. Sarai was well up in years and was barren. The soul, so long as she does not unite with the spirit within, will remain barren and without life. Soul life is dead life, and we must acknowledge it is death. And, carnal mindedness is enmity against Yah. "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against Yah, for it is not subject to the law of Yah, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please Yah. …But to be spiritually minded is life and peace." Well, with the soul barren, poor old Abram is barren as well because it takes the union of spirit and soul to produce the son of Yah in us. The spirit man longs for Yah, and to do His will. The Spirit itself makes intercession in us that can not even be uttered. Abram was an old man, and he could not understand how Yah was going to fill the land with his descendants and him without child. He looked and saw his hired servant born in his house and decided this was how Yah would do it. He would fill the land with those he had brought into his household. Religion is filling his house, or church, with many souls, and it believes it is filling the land with descendants. "After these things the word of the Almighty came unto Abram in a vision, saying, 'Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.' And Abram said, 'Almighty Yah, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir." In other words those born in his house would be his heir through the foreigner. "And, behold, the word of the Almighty came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir."
"This ministry in your church will not produce sonship. Yah does not want us to produce out of our religious acts, children to religion. He wants us to produce a spiritual seed out of our born again spirit in union with a renewed soul. All the things we produce by religious acts are nothing more than servants in the household of the denominations. They are foreign children, another order "other than" Yah’s, and it is just the "opposite" of what Yah has in mind. Sarai's Plan "Now Sarai, Abram's wife, bare him no children, and she had a handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, The Almighty hath restrained me from bearing. I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes." After a while, Sarai, the soul, got impatient and once again decided that Yah needed help fulfilling his promise. After all, she reasoned with Abram, it will be seed from your own body. I want you to notice how crafty Sarai is. She lays forth her plan to her husband, and persuades him with reason, but it was really not Abram she was concerned about. Listen to her words, "it may be that I may obtain children by her." Who did she really want to benefit from this union? She was being dominating again, and schemed to be the benefactor of this great deception. However, as is usually the case, what our soul congers up for us is most of the time very unsatisfying. How many times do we reason out what Yah has spoken to us, and take the initiative out of His hands. Sarai thought any flesh descendant would fulfill the promise. Just as religious man thinks any act of religious service for Yah is Yah’s plan and will. When we allow our carnal mind to do the thinking we end up going against Yah’s will. Our carnal mind will conjure up the answer to Yah’s will, and it will always be carnal in nature. Hagar was of foreign birth, an Egyptian, a natural ability or talent that served Sarai well, and it was pleasing to her. Some people think that if they have a lovely voice, this is just the thing to be used by Yah. While a beautiful natural singing voice is wonderful, and can be a blessing it is not the seed of promise, there is no spiritual life in it. It is only a son, or ministry, by foreign, or natural, means. So, Sarai persuaded Abram to unite with his talent or ability, and produce a ministry, or child. After all it was his very own ability, was it not? Abram did as he wife said and produces a seed from the servant of his household. We might birth many religious children, such as blessings and ministries, in our sojourning in the land, but they are not the seed of promise, they are not spiritual. They are the children of the soul, Sarai. Abram dearly loved the little son, ministry, born to him through this talent or ability. The children we birth from our religious acts are Sarai's children and soulish. They do not bring spiritual growth, or produce life. When man produces out of his soul his spirit is unfruitful. It might be Abram’s son, but not heirs of Abraham according to the promise. Abram could not help being sucked into this, after all he was flesh, and it usually obeys the demands of the soul. Call to Holiness “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Yah, the Father, appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty Yah; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a Yah unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you." Flesh and blood can not take part in this covenant. "In times past Yah winked at ignorance, but now he is called every man everywhere to repent, and to come to maturity." He is asking us to become perfect by allowing our divine born again spirit to rule in our lives, to still the voice of our soul, and hear the voice of Yah. We must walk before Yah, and not before man. It is the opinion of Yah that is important, not the approval of man. If we will seek the mind of the Spirit and allow Him to teach us, He will renew our carnal mind. He will bring every imagination into captivity of the Spirit, and we will become spiritually minded. Then Yah will establish another covenant with us, not the covenant of salvation, but the covenant of sonship. This is a covenant of cutting off the flesh, religion and carnalism. This is required only of the male, the manchild because the bloodline flows through the male. The covenant Yah wishes to establish with us is spiritual, and a covenant of becoming sons of Yah. They are in the body, woman, females, until they are called forth in a second covenant. The Covenant of Sonship. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of Yah, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of Yah." This covenant is entered into with pain, the cutting away of the flesh, and that my friend is not pleasant. It is the cross life where the blood of the flesh is poured out, and as YahShua, we will come forth from this earthen tomb a spirit man. Now hear the warning of the Spirit, "And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant. If you want to be a part of what Yah is doing in our day, you must circumcise your flesh, and cut off any religious ties. The daughters and the soul man is a fleshly, and only that which is spiritual will move on into the next move of Yah, into the perfect man. There will be no mixture, no self-ego; nothing of the old religious order must remain. All must go to the cross for, "If we be dead with Him, we shall also live with Him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: if we deny Him, He also will deny us. He taketh away the first, that He may establish the second." If we deny Him in this sonship covenant He will deny us the partaking of it. Abraham "Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish My covenant between Me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a Father unto thee, and to thy seed after thee." With the cutting off of the flesh, the circumcision of the heart, comes a changed name, character and nature. This covenant was not just for Abraham, but it is for his seed, not those of the flesh, religion, but those of the promise, born of the Spirit. Abraham means, "A father if multitudes" Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary. One of the main purposes of Yah is to change our names. Name: as a mark or memorial of individuality; by implication honor, authority, character: Strong's Hebrew Dictionary. Your name is a definition of your character or nature. Yah wants to change our character and give us a new name, a new nature. Notice now that the covenant has moved from a geographical location to the spiritual realm. Abraham’s Covenant was a physical one for the soulish, religious man and His blessings are earthly, visible and physical. This is the realm of inheritance to those who remain religious, people saved by FAITH, and those who do not enter the New Covenant established by YahShua Messiyah. In contrast the New Covenant is for the inner man of the heart, the spirit man, which is through divine birth. Now the spirit man will never be satisfied with the carnal blessings, or outward gratification of the Abrahamic Covenant. "By FAITH Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By FAITH he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise. For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is Yah." In the New Covenant it is no longer by FAITH, it is by experiencing DIVINE birth. The government of Yah, the New Jerusalem, that Abraham looked for in his day will be revealed in our day. We are sojourning in the flesh realm, looking to be clothed upon with house from heaven. The Spirit man is always looking for the spiritual things of Yah, and finds that religious things are no longer of interest. The spiritual man will not be satisfied with less than his spiritual inheritance. Yah, Himself, is the spiritual man’s inheritance. We bask in the pleasure we bring Him, and that is all the spirit heart of us desires. To be conformed into the image of the sons of Yah is our eternal goal, and to do His will is our soul purpose. SARAH Yah did not leave Sarai, the soul, out of the Covenant for we read, "And Yah said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her." This son that is to be heir of Abraham was also to be the child of Sarah. Sarah: A female noble, lady, princess or queen. Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary. The Spirit and the soul had finally come together in unity to conceive the spiritual seed. Sarai’s nature had been changed, and she is now spiritually minded and one with the spirit. One of the works of the Holy Spirit is to move upon the face of the water, Word of Yah He places with in us, and separate the dry land form the water, the carnal mind from the spiritual mind. "For the Word of Yah is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. He brings spiritual enlightenment to our soul, psyche, with lightening, that is revelation knowledge that brightens the dark churning clouds of our carnal mind. We find that we are moving from glory to glory with each wondrous flash of spiritual awareness. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of Yah. That He might sanctify and cleanse it, your mind, your soul, with the washing of water by the word." ISAAC Isaac is the child of supernatural birth, the type and shadow of YahShua, the Son of Yah. "In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, they which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of Yah, but the children of the promise are counted for the seed." It is through intervention of Yah that Isaac came into existence, and it is through the divine plan of Yah that YahShua Messiyah came to earth. He took His flesh from the seed of Abraham for we hear Mary say, "Be it unto me according to thy words." She, as Abraham, believed Yah and it was accounted to her for righteousness. She did not need anything physical or faith building to believe. The Word of the Angel was enough for her. She was truly the seed of Abraham, and that holy thing conceived in her was "the seed of promise" through whom all the nations, peoples, of the world would be blessed. "No one knows the thoughts of Yah except the Spirit of Yah. We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from Yah, that we may understand what Yah has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. Man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of Yah, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. But, Yah has revealed it to us by His Spirit, the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of Yah." A GREATER THAN ABRAHAM YahShua, the descendent of Abraham through Isaac, established the New Covenant through the flesh, but He is the Son of Yah through divine birth. Divine birth in the New Covenant is a spiritual relationship with Yah, and Him begetting "nations" of spiritual people, and bringing about kingship and a royal priesthood. It is no longer limited to a place, but goes beyond limits to enter the eternal realm where Yah Himself abides. The New Covenant through YahShua Messiyah is a spiritual one. It is about relationship rather than possessions. The covenant has now become personal, it is not a congregational one, neither is sonship congregational as found in the church. Sonship is a personal one on one relationship between a father and son. None but the two involved understand that relationship. Though Yah may have many sons, His fellowship with them is still on individual basis. Together, however, these make up the manchild company of Revelation. "Once again Yah has called a people unto himself out of religion. "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. In times past Yah winked at ignorance, but now he is called every man everywhere to repent and to come to maturity." He is asking us to become perfect by allowing our divine born again spirit to come to maturity and rule in our lives, to still the voice of our soul, and hear the voice of Yah. We must walk before Yah, and not before man. If we will seek the mind of the Spirit and allow Him to teach us, He will renew our carnal mind, and bring it into unity to our spirit, which is by divine spiritual birth. He will bring every imagination into captivity of the Spirit, and we will become spiritually minded, no longer interest in things, but in intangible attributes like unto him. Then Yah will establish another covenant with us, not the covenant of salvation, but the covenant of sonship. Yah boldly declares. "For Zion's sake will I not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name. Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy Holy Father. To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it." YahShua came to establish a residence for us in the realm of Yah. “In My father’s house are many mansions,” He told us. He was not speaking of a physical abode someplace in a physical heaven somewhere, but a place in the realm of the Spirit where Yah dwells. The place where spiritual authority is administered and where kings sit upon thrones to order the affairs of life. The quality of life in the spiritual realm depends on the quantity of spiritual life we obtain here. Yah did away with religious ordinances with the death of YahShua on the cross because He wanted to change the quality of our final abode to that His own. "Having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances..." He wants to make us citizens of a higher realm of existence. "For through Him we both, Jew and Gentile, have access by one Spirit unto the Father." The people of Yah as a whole, with few exceptions, have once again established religious domination. The deadly wound YahShua inflicted on it was healed and the beast, the flesh or soul is in control in the lives of His people. But, we hear the voice of the Almighty saying, "He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be His Father, and he shall be My son." "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of Yah: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of Yah, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure." "The creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of Yah. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body." The hope of the church, believers, rests in Yah bringing immortality to light through the manifestation of the sons of Yah, and His kingdom coming to earth. Let us lift up our heads for our redemption draweth nigh.
I am always available to answer the questions of a hungry heart. It is Yah's will that we help one another up the hill to transfiguration. However, keep in mind that it is not revelation knowledge that we should seek, but "HIM". Spiritual understand will automatically come as we become more aware of "HIM" and become more like "HIM". Many fall short of full sonship by becoming too caught up in the revelation, and not caught up "IN HIM". "HE" must have preeminence in our life, even in our getting of revelation knowledge. I can not stress this enough.
