Yo.

Alright, this is Owens music corner, lots of good music to be had, oh yes, as yet
Im not really sure what to put on it. Hmmm.
Well, to start with, if you like Acid Jungle, played by a jazz band with a drum
sequencer and an aphex/pearsquasher then you'll bum Jaga Jazzist.
I Love It.

Welcome to the machine @ Kafe Da in Norwich end of this term, should
be.....really good! (says vix...)
Dont come if youre scared of electronic music.....

Or 190 bpm glitches

Or neon t-shirts with skinny sweaty boys on hard drugs in them.

New Squarepusher!!!!!!!!!! - Ultravisitor!!!!!!!!!!

Well. Basically its proper amzing, its a piece of art more than an album but because of that I think some people may disregard it as a bit too avant garde and random. listening to the tracks individually there are some definite stand outs, track 1 is your typical squarepusher, and probably my favourite at the moment, track 13 is great, all instrumental I think and then glitched up afterwards. PLENTY of instrumental tracks with amzing bass/guitar/drums playing.

But its when you listen to the whole thing then it really presents itself, It takes your head on a fucked up journey through frentic beats, classical insrumental tracks and pure nails through the ears sound massacres and your left feeling physically drained afterwards if you make it to the end. All the tracks link in to each other, sometimes a sound will mark the end of one track, contiue in the background of the next and then come back into the foreground for the track after that, madness. And is alot of it really live or just clever use of samples? im sure he's the bloke calling out in the crowd at some points.... Oh well.

Get it, if you have an open mind and ears well used to extreme audio abuse. Though you cant yet cos its not out, I got a, ahem, special advance copy from warp cos they wanted to run it by me before they released it. Yes. Honest.

Im out of ideas now so ill finish by saying, song of the week -
Ultravisitor, on Ultravisitor by Squarepusher, NUTS!!!
