You  turn  on  your  car's radio... From behind the wheel, you   imagine   yourself   going down   the    highway   cutting  through    Baja   California   or
the  Desert of  Arizona,  full of  fascinating    landscapes ...
     The  music  moves on  and
the melody and the arrangements captivate   and    involve   you completely , transforming your trip into  an oneiric adventure... But, in fact , you're still a few blocks   from   home  .
At the end of the song, the name of the band: "
No Perfect Heroes".

Formed in early 2000, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,  No Perfect Heroes , with its musicians with different influences, backgrounds and experiences , brings new energy to the pop-rock scene.
Audiences everywhere have given the band a warm reception. The public always vibrates and identifies with the band's sound.
Using rare instruments in the traditional formation of a rock band (as cello and mandolin ),
No Perfect Heroes is bridging the essence of acoustic folk and pop-rock with its guitar distortions.
The lyrics, at times introspective , all poetic, talk about sentiments, vivacity and spiritual states, known by anyone that listens to the songs. The inspiration comes from the real world, from the reality that we have to face and from all the emotions , be they pleasant or not , that lead to the
same  point;  that  we are  humans, so  therefore,  we  are not  immune to mistakes...  But also capable of putting things right !
No Perfect Heroes is :

Andr Dias - vocals, lyrics and music

Helon Leal acoustic and eletric guitars, mandolin

Gustavo Garcia  -
bass

Flvio Nascimento -  drums

Ronildo Cndido cello

"... I really liked the No Perfect Heroes' Demo cd. It was a pleasant surprise. Nowadays, almost everybody sounds "heavy", with "funk" elements. So, after all, everybody sounds similar. But you don't.You guys had bet in the difference and it seems to me that  you were very successful. The shades of  the  three songs had made me hear the cd many and many times. I particularly liked "Love & Hate', with that amazing cello. The lyrics and the vocals also deserve prominence: at no moment I tought:"It's a brazilian band singing in english", really none. Excelent work. Congratulations for your music.
