Type of ship = Logboat
Type of wood = Birch
# of masts = None
type of sail = None
Figurehead = Arrow
Tell us a bit about your ship =  This is a small logboat, built for
speed. It is a river type craft with a small figure head of an arrow,
aerodynamically shaping the boat. It has no masts, only powered by rowers,
yet if it picks up speed then rowing is unnecessary, and they can sit
back and enjoy a swift ride.

From Dunshee of the Daredevil Dibbuns
The Rover

Type of ship = Clipper
Type of wood = Oak
# of masts = Three
type of sail = Lateen (triangle)
Figurehead = None
Tell us a bit about your ship =  The ship was a present to me
from me old holt when I
decided to go roving a bit
down south to diffrent islands
and land forms, and the builder
of the ship was my mother.
Since I was going to rove, she
named it the Rover.  Rover
didn't have to many run in with
corsairs, but when she did she
useally escaped, being fast
and not well armed.  The
Rover does have some fire
power, but only one cannon.
In an attack it is usally best to
outmanuver the other ship.
She's a pretty sound lass, and
will do just as I ask of her.  (As
long as I do it politly, she's got
a mind of her own!  *Wink,
wink*)

Tell us a bit about your ship =  Shrews built it for my father, who
likes to travel on water.  It's mostly traveled on rivers, since we visit
the otters often.  Once we went out on the open sea for a day, just to
see what it was like. It's mast has broken once, so we replaced it.

off of it as well. I burnt the inside of of it and I painted it white
just like my fur.

From Abby of the River Ramblers
The Bladespray

Type of ship = Skiff
Type of wood = Rosewood
# of masts = Three
type of sail = Lateen
Figurehead = Longsword
Tell us a bit about your ship =  The Bladespray is a one of a kind
skiff.  It was made by meself and is unmatched in speed.  It has yet to run
into corsairs because it is two fast to be caught.  With 3 masts it
takes a two beast crew to make it sail.  The figure head is a long sword
worked into the rosewood work hints the name Bladespray. Any beast to
put this ship in the water is in for a joyful experience.

Redtail Wanderer

Type of ship = Galleon
Type of wood = Other (specify below)
# of masts = Three
type of sail = Square
Figurehead = Eagle
Tell us a bit about your ship =  The Redtail Wanderer was built by a
tribe of squirrels wishing to look for a new home over the ocean. It took
them six seasons to complete. The ship has three decks below the main
deck, and a rear castle where the tribe leader lived.
There was a hole in the top deck with steps down to each deck below.
The lower deck was the crews quarters, three crew mwmbers shared one room
as only one shift slept at a time. The three shifts rotated through,
sleeping, rowing, other.
The two decks above the quarters were rowing decks. there were ten oars
on each side of each deck so there were fourty squirrels rowing at one
time.
The main deck housed the three masts. The central mast had a net that
allowed access to the crows nest where there were three squirrels on
watch. There were two rudders with two squirrels moving each. The galley
and dining area was in a low castle at the front of the ship. In the
three months they staeyed on the water only one encounter occurred with
corsairs. Using the sharp figurehead of the eagle the ship rammed the
corsair wargally sinking it.
The ship was left alone in a cave on the continant in the far west
where it was left alone for ten years. it was finally found again by the
original crews decendants and they returned to Mossflower. Unfortunately
the ship run aground on some submerged rocks when in sight of
Salamandastron. The ship was torn apart and sank. There was only one survivor,
Zenn Squirrel, only three seasons old.
other? = The Hull is made from Oak, the masts from Teak and the decks
are made from Mahogany.

From Zenn Squirrel of the Woodland Patrollers
The LateRose

Type of ship = Canoe
Type of wood = Birch
# of masts = None
type of sail = None
Figurehead = None
Tell us a bit about your ship = I decided for a canoe because
on my travels, I often ran into
settelments o' cosairs and
serats along riverbanks an'
along the southern coast. I've
decided that now that I've's
aquired a chance to create a
trusty ship, I can travel along
small creeks an' streams with
only a bag of weapons an'
eliminate the scurvy worms!!
I chose birch wood because s'
very strong but light as well. It
can also carry a fair bit of
weight such as a merry bit o'
weapons. 'ave mercy on the
blaggards who took ma family
many moons ago, for they'll be
crowding at the gates of the
Dark Forest within a season.
