| This album is very good although there are times when Mariah takes it over the ope like the song "Bliss" i think she used a wrong way to use her voice. Other than that I think this album is alright. One key moment is the old Phil Collins song "Against All Odd" which i think Mariah does pretty well. Another highlight is the remix of "Heartbreaker" which has Da Brat (One of my favorite Girl rappers) and Missy (Another one) they remake and old Snoop Dog tune and he's even in the video. Snoop also appears on "Crybaby" which I think is Snoop at his most soulful. "Petals" for me is the ultimate song about life and love. I bought this album when I was in Job Corps and had an episode with a guy there and this album helped me get through what was going on at the time. It has helped my many other times at trying to find what I want in a relationship and what to expect or want to expect. There are many songs like "Petals" that help me think about love and life and what I want in a relationship. The only thing is to find a guy to have a relationship with then i'll know what's going on. I thank Mariah for writing these kind of songs to make us think. Love ya |
