| This album shows that these girls can ROCK! They do covers of other rock songs and they pull it off very well. I mean they sound like they could've been rock goddesses if they wanted to. I think this is one of their overlooked albums with very good songs. They all do good jobs on their solos the only thing is that june and Anita sound so much alike it's kinda hard to tell who's singing. But nevertheless you can pick out Ruth anywhere. Her booming low vocals on "Don't Let A Thief..." and her shouting vocals on "All Your Love". The only slow songs on here are "Dreaming As One" a wonderful ballad and "(She's Got) The Fever" a gritty slow jam with Ruth in the lead. Hell if these girls could've rocked like this then they should've kept it up. But they had good success after this album and farbeit from me to tell them what to do. You ROCK girls. |
