I'd have to say that my fondest memories of Martha Wash is hearing her singing for Black Box. I thought that girl has a good voice. Little did I know that the girl on the cover was NOT the singer. Later I heard the "Everybody Dance Now" and knew I'd heard that voice somewhere before. I played it along side of my Black Box cd and yes they sounded exactly the same and I thought who is this woman? It wasn't until I accepted being gay and then found out who she was. I was living in Wolf Point and there was a sale and Black Jacks and they had old tapes for 99 cents. I saw Martha Wash on one of the tapes so I got it. When I got home to play it I found out that she was the one that was singing for Black Box and C+C Music Factory. Now I educated I set out trying to find everything Martha. I have a couple of cd's with Martha on them they are recorded from other cd's like her "Carry on" single and the Black Box "Dreamland" cd. I love Martha and whenever I can I try to look for her records or cds. I used to have The Collection but it's gone now so i guess I'll have to find it again. wish me luck martha Love ya
