| I have loved Pat Benatar ever since I first heard "Heartbreaker" I used to have her BEST SHOTS on vinyl and loved that album because it brought together her hits. This one i bought because I love this woman and I knew I'd like something on the album and I was right. I love "Strawberry Wine" now this isn't the country song that every girl i know knows. This is a lovely ballad that rocks every now and then. I also love her rockers on this album from "River Of Love" to "In These Times" Pat said that this album and mainly acoustic but on the fast songs you can heard more electric guitars. so it's only on the ballads that she goes acoustic and they are pretty ballads also. "Papa's Roses" is a very beautiful song that reminices about youth. The song "Innamorata" is an instrumental that i love to listen to when i want to relax and daydream. I love the aspect that she included a song made by her daughter. This is a cute little song that only lasts for a mintute or so and cuts off. What a way to end a very good album. LIFE IS SWEET |
