| This page is dedicated to the places that are haunted. Now this includes Tule Creek, The New Tribal Building and many other places that I wouldn't even dare to go! ha ha So anyof you who live on the Fort Peck REZ and know of a place that is hunted then EMAIL ME ok enjoy |
| TULE CREEK There are many stories about Tule Creek and one in particaular is when you see a hitchhiker, you pick him up and he will have hooves for feet! My mom has told me that one and I've heard it about a hundred times by different people. It changes everytime so I don't know who to believe. You'll never catch me hitckhiking around there at night. Although my friend Lesley wanted to go out there one Halloween but it got cold so we couldn't but I always wonder what we would've seen out there. OOOh just gives me shivers! I asked my aunt on time why that place was so haunted and she told me that there were a lot of murders around there in the old days. I was also told that there used to be a Bar out there. So i guess there are a lot of spirits out there just wandering around. My only question is "will they try and hurt us?" but as you know ghosts are just dead people who can't find the light and need help. I jst wonder about the "other ones." oooh! The scientific explanation of the "lights" that are seen around Tule is due to natural minerals from the ground. When these minerals hit the atmosphere they turn into balls of light. When they hit a car they drain energy from it and it will die. Now this can be very scary sitting on that hill all alone AT NIGHT! I don't even wanna know what would happen if they hit a person! "I had been going to Wolf Point to get my daughter from her game. After I had passed Tule Creek I noticed that there were three people sitting the back seat of my car! I told them "I know you're here and I want you to get out when I reach Wolf Point." When I finally did get to Wolf Point they were gone. I picked up my daughter and started coming back to Poplar when I noticed them again! This time they started kicking the baks of our seats! My daughter got very scared and I told her to take my hand and we started to pray. When we did that they kicked harder! I told them that I had given them a ride and to leave us alone. A few minutes later we passed Tule Creek and they vanished! THE NEW TRIBAL BUILDING The new tribal building was built in 2000 and when it was finished the Old building was given to the college. When people were still in the old building they would see stuff but they never thought that they'd see stuf in the new one but they were wrong: "I had just walked out of my bosses office when I heard the west door close. I turned to look and I saw an Indian warrior come walking in very fast down the hall! When he got to me he stared at me and I told him "I see you." He looked startled and probably thought that I hadn't seen him. He turned around and walked through the door. |
