| Dancing The bass is pumping Like the beat of my heart Which is very empty The only hope is That someone will fill it With love To make me feel I belong The treble is siring Like the sound of my tears When they fall They hit the ground With an empty thud The bodies are moving If they stop They'll die Along with the music Only when it starts again Do they come alive The bass is pumpin Like the beat of my heart Which is filled When I'm on the dancelfloor By Larry Francisco A vast lanscape Where lovers and strangers meet With the bass pumpin The bodies move as one Yet each in their own groove For a moment The crowd becomes a giant Moving like he's drunk Legs kick Hands clap Faces smile Young and old Big and small They gather on A vast landscape called The Dancefloor By Larry Francisco These are a homage to dance/house/club/techno and disco music. As much as i love singing, I love dancing as well. There used to be (I don't know anymore) a gay dance every now and then in Bismarck. I used to go there just to get on the floor and move to my favorite dance songs. I love all kinds of dance musicians. I recently bought a compilation of dance songs called THUNDERPUSS. I heard of these guys before so i had to get this cd. It had a cool remix of the songs "We Are Family" "Can't Fight The Moonlight" "Hero" as well as new club songs i came to love. I love all the dance divas also. Martha Wash, Loleatta Holloway, Donna Summer, Amber, CeCe Peniston, RuPaul, Robin S., and many others. So if you wanna dance come and see me. ;-) |
