Now this is the Aretha record I grew up with. It was the one i used to borrow from the library over and over again. Then when I had a tape player I found it. then i had it on CD. Unfortunatly cds come and go but i still have the memory of this album.
I don't think there is a single track that would skip unless it was the slow ones but even then i used to listen to them and sing slong with Aretha. I just love her voice in Another Night, Until You Say You Love Me, and Intergirty.
The rockers on here were a force man I can just see myself dancing in my room to "Freeway" "Sisters" and "Push"
When I had the record I never knew that "Push" and "Integirty" were radio edits until I bought the tape and found they were longr! I thought that was so cool.
This is one tape i found myself singing along to in front of people. While walking with my headphones on I would turn up the volume and sing just like Aretha! AH the memories. When this guy that i wanted didn't want me I played Another Night and thought "I don't need you to bring me DAMN" and I finally realized how powerful music is when you can just listen to a song and know what they're saying because you're going thorugh it RIGHT NOW! That's why I love Aretha and all music.
